The Francestown Transfer Station has reopened its swap shop. The transfer station is also doing away with “summer hours” due to lack of use, and is re-enforcing its checks-only policy, Town Administrator Jamie Pike said Tuesday.
The Swap Shop had closed due to COVID-19 concerns, but is reopening on a 90-day probationary basis with strict guidelines in place, according to a press release from the town. Only two people are allowed in the room at a time, and no electronics, items with broken or missing pieces, liquids, paints, or stains are permitted.
