A North Bay man has been charged in connection with a shooting at a Manitou Street residence Friday.
Kyle Alexander Leblond, 28, is charged with one count each of attempt to commit murder using a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Police responded to a call at about 11:30 p.m. Friday after a victim was taken to hospital with severe injuries.
Police said there was no known public safety risk at the time of the incident.

Police have charged seven people in relation to a joint investigation involving the illegal distribution of drugs in the district.
A statement Monday from the North Bay Police Service says Project Drifter, a joint forces operation between North Bay police and the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, resulted in the seizure of drugs, thousands of dollars in cash and other items.
