MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) â The NCAA Division II Super Region V Championships are set to get underway in Aberdeen, South Dakota, next weekend, with wrestlers hoping to punch their tickets to the national competition coming up on March 12.
In whatâs been a strange year for sports, the Mavericks managed to get all six regular-season duals in without adjusting the schedule â which is a feat in itself considering the circumstances this season.
âAs usual, the credit goes to the guys. We only get to see them 2-3 hours a day. They have a life outside of here. Mississippi State University celebrated the state s Arbor Day by planting trees on the Drill Field on Friday in an event that included short speeches by faculty members from the College of Forest Resources, as well as one from MSU President Mark Keenum. Scholarship students in the forestry department planted trees on the corner near Walker Engineering Building, as members of their faculty and groundsmen looked on. Roughly 75 people were in attendance on the cold, 28-degree day.
