Relaxed COVID rules means Chelmsford Fourth of July parade may return

Wicked Local CHELMSFORD Loosened COVID restrictions means the previously-cancelled Fourth of July parade is set to go but with limitations.  In a website and social media announcement, The Chelmsford Parade Committee said,   Chelmsford’s 4th of July Parade is now a go, but is a scaled back version with the full parade returning in 2022. Currently, the parade is scheduled for July 5, 10 a.m. with the parade route traveling from McCarthy Middle School on North Road to the town center, as in years past. A time of change There are no plans at this time for shuttle buses, a reviewing stand or live broadcast, the announcement said.
