PETALING JAYA: With the North-East Monsoon season looming in October, MCA Youth national chairman Datuk Nicole Wong Siaw Ting has called on Putrajaya to expedite the national vaccination programme.
PETALING JAYA: Everyone has a role to play to curb the Covid-19 pandemic, and even staying at home is a responsibility that has to be taken seriously, says Datuk Nicole Wong.
The MCA Youth chairman said that although staying at home may not seem like much, it is the main way to help the frontliners to flatten the Covid-19 infection curve.
“We need to do much to support our frontliners who are continuously fighting the pandemic.
“We must also remember that while we stay at home, it is not only food that is needed by many, but also the need for mental health by reaching out to others who may be depressed and mentally affected, ” said Wong.

The MCA Youth chief said everyone should look beyond political affiliations and assist the government in making the National Covid-19 Vaccine Immunisation Programme a success, besides following the standard operating procedures (SOP).
Wong said it was odd that an experienced leader such as Anwar who was once the deputy premier did not know about the procurement system.
She said that many people could have been fooled and believed what he said about the procurement of Covid-19 vaccines.
