Two People Facing Drug Charges Following Separate Emmet County Traffic Stops By charguth July 15, 2021 3:03 pm Saga Communications Estherville, IA (KICD)– Two Northern Iowans have charged with drug-related offenses following separate Emmet County traffic stops earlier this month. Sheriff Mike Martens tells us the first stop was initiated on Highway 15 in Armstrong on the evening of July 5th which ultimately led to 18-year-old Morgan Murphy of Graettinger being taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol under the legal age. The second stop came the next day also in Armstrong where 18-year-old Ryan Lang of Swea City was arrested for allegedly possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
