GUWAHATI: The All Assam NHM (National Health Mission) Para-Medical Employees Union has urged the Government of Assam to also include them in the list of Health personnel who would be getting employment in the government sector.
Addressing the media at the Guwahati Press Club here on Sunday, the organisation s general secretary, Mofidul Islam said, We urge the government to include all our 21,000 contractual employees in the list of the 1,00,000 candidates who be getting government jobs soon. GUWAHATI: The All Assam NHM Para-Medical Employees Union demanded that all the employees working under National Health Mission (NHM) as contractual employees in this COVID pandemic should get double the salary.
Further, in a statement to the state government the Union s sectary Mofidul Islam alleged said that since 2006 under the NHM, Assam around 22,000 contractual employees are working without getting any benefits as compared to other state government employees along with the early hike in salaries.
