Driver fires at other vehicle in Monona, police say

By Brandon Arbuckle MONONA, Wis. Monona police responded to a shots fired incident Tuesday involving two vehicles. Officials were sent to West Broadway near Monona Drive shortly after 4:30 p.m. An incident report said the driver of a white SUV with Illinois license plates shot at a dark blue or black SUV. The white SUV continued to head westbound on Broadway as the other vehicle made a U-turn and left in the opposite direction. One witness said they saw a black handgun pointed out from the white SUV, and two shell casings were found at the scene. Police said no victim has come forward, no license plate numbers were recorded and no suspect descriptions were provided.

According to the Monona Police Department, the man entered the McDonald’s located at 2501 W. Broadway on Saturday and left with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a middle-aged, heavy set man with a bald head and grey facial hair. He was wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, grey camo cargo pants and black and white athletic shoes.
