481 non-duty paid auctioned vehicles missing: FBR
Report says MVRA did not have the record of the missing vehicles

ISLAMABAD:
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has reported that of the 819 over 2,000cc non-duty paid and smuggled luxury vehicles auctioned in the last five years, 481 have been missing.
According to a report prepared by the FBR, the Motor Vehicle Registration Authority (MVRA) did not have a record of the missing luxury vehicles.
The Directorate of Customs Intelligence, Quetta auctioned the highest number of luxury vehicles.
Of the 819 vehicles auctioned in the last five years, only 338 luxury vehicles have been registered with the MVRA.
