Police and medics responding to a reported dog bite early Sunday morning ended up filing charges against the victim after she fought with and bled on officers, public safety officials said.
Police from Zone 6 and EMS responded to a home on the 3000 block of Motor Street in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood just after 3 a.m., for a report of a woman attacked by a dog.
Police said the woman had gained entry to a family member’s home when the dog attacked and bit her on the arm. Police said she also had a severe injury on her left index finger, which was unrelated to the dog attack.
