KURIANWALA:
A woman was sexually assaulted at gunpoint in Khurrianwala when two men took her to a house under the pretext of getting ration.
A stand has been taken in the case filed by the widow of Sajid Ali, a resident of 203 RB Mananwala stating that she works in people s homes to raise her children. The suspect Aziz was one of her acquaintances.
Meanwhile, when the victim told him that her domestic situation was bad, so he gave her some rations. “The suspect Aziz called and said that your ration application has been approved and asked me to come near Aziz Fatima Hospital. Aziz was already there on a motorcycle when I reached the hospital,” she said.
Family and property disputes were cited as motives for the deadly attacks

Four persons including two women were allegedly murdered in separate incidents in Dijkot on Saturday.
Police said that in Allahabad, a man allegedly shot dead his ex-wife, her second husband and a friend of hers.
Police registered a case of triple murder and started searching for the alleged murderers.
According to the police report, 30-year-old Muhammad Adnan, the son of Irshad and a resident of Mohalla Ahmedabad, in Satiana Road, Mohalla Elahiabad Street No 7, had returned to his house with his wife, Sumaira Bibi, 35, and her friend Sumaira, 30, the wife of Raza Abbas and a resident of Satiana Road.
