KOTA KINABALU: Police here are seeking help from the public to locate a suspect who fled a police checkpoint at Taman Teluk Likas at about 11.30am on Wednesday (July 28). Kota Kinabalu City police chief Asst Comm Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said the suspect was driving a white Alza when the incident occurred outside the housing area which is under an enhanced movement control order. We were not able to establish the licence plate number of the vehicle, he said in a statement on Friday (July 30). He said the driver of the Alza had stopped at the police checkpoint but reversed and hit a purple car behind his vehicle.
