Date Time Caught in Collingwood A man has been arrested following a series of alleged burglaries and attempted burglaries in Melbourne’s inner north overnight. It is alleged the 49-year-old jumped a fence into the back yard of a property on Wellington Street Collingwood and attempted force open a door just before 2.10am. A female occupant confronted the man through the door and he fled over the fence. A short time later it’s alleged he gained entry to a business on Budd Street where he activated an alarm. He then gained entry to another property on Wellington Street by removing glass window louvers.
