A 25-year-old York County man died after a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Penns Valley, according to state police at Rockview. Hunter Zeigler, of Dover, was the passenger in a 2011 Jeep Wrangler traveling west on McCall Dam Road in Miles Township at about 4 p.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle. A state police investigator said the driver over-corrected through a curve, causing the Jeep to overturn and eventually come to rest on its roof and facing northeast. Zeigler was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the vehicle, police said. He died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
