Before we dive into this new week, we re taking a look back at the week that was, and the stories that spoke most to our readers. This week, our top stories included new businesses coming to the city, improvements to our parks, and the promise of family movie nights coming back soon. These are the five stories that resonated most with
Gazette readers this past week:
A new kind of coffee shop
Although locals have their favorite coffee stops around Taunton, there is certainly always room for more. Westport couple Debra and Keith Viveiros are opening a new location of their business, Milestone Realty Inc., and it will include a coffee shop. Gazette Reporter Susannah Sudborough spoke with them about their plans for their new venture.
TAUNTON Westport couple Debra and Keith Viveiros are bringing a novel idea to Taunton.
Instead of your run-of-the-mill real estate group, the husband and wife team are opening a new location of their business, Milestone Realty Inc., in the back of a building they bought, and making the front of the building a coffee shop. When we go from meetings, we always meet at coffee places, Keith said. And Taunton specifically in that area there s nowhere we d go to grab good coffee and sit down, hang out, get a nice espresso or cappuccino.
The coffee shop/Realty group will be located at 260 Broadway, and there is one apartment on the second floor they will rent out.
