CLYMER A domestic incident involving a shotgun has led to charges for town resident.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report they were dispatched to a residence in the town around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, deputies were able to determine that Tyler Lindemuth, 25, did allegedly display a shotgun while preventing another subject from leaving a residence during the course of an argument.
Lindemuth was taken into custody and charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree menacing. He was transported to the county jail for Centralized Arraignment Process.

Man charged in stabbing at New Hartford motel

A man faces a felony charge after being accused of stabbing another person at a New Hartford mote, town police said.
Police responded at 1:54 p.m. Thursday to the Valley Brook Motel on Seneca Turnpike, where the victim was found and transported to the St Luke’s Campus of the Mohawk Valley Health System with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
The suspect, Dylan Cromp, 44, was located at the scene, officials said.
The two had a verbal dispute, which resulted in the stabbing, police said.
Cromp was charged with felony assault and felony criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
