COLCHESTER S average coronavirus infection rate continues to fall, but Tendring s has almost doubled in the space of a week, latest figures show. According to the latest data in the week to April 22, Colchester s average infection rate was 11.8 cases per 100,000 people. There were 23 cases of Covid confirmed in this seven day period. The rate has dropped slightly from 14.4 cases per 100,000 people a week earlier. However, Tendring s average infection rate is now 25.9 cases per 100,000 people.
