Police arrest two after vehicle stop – Kariong
A man and woman have been arrested following a vehicle stop on the Central Coast today, as part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting in Sydney’s east.
Emergency services were called to a unit on Marine Parade about 9.15pm on Sunday (4 July 2021), after reports a man had been shot.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 37-year-old man, before he was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established, which was examined by specialist forensic police, and detectives commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
