(WSFA) - Tuskegee police have identified the human remains found last week as a missing person. Police say someone found the body on a property near Alabama Ave and Avenue B on April 1. Police say the body appeared to have been there for several weeks. Forensics identified the body as 23-year-old Marquez Duncan, who was reported missing. Duncan had not been seen since Feb. 23. Police have changed the case status to an active homicide investigation.

According to the Valley Police Department, employees at King Ford Lincoln on Fob James Drive arrived to work Monday to find seven vehicles had been stolen off the lot. Police said the stolen cars are valued at more than $400,000. The vehicles stolen include a 2021 Dodge Charger SX, a 2021 Dodge Charger, four Ford F-250 4x4 pickup trucks and a Dodge Ram Laramie 3500 truck. (WSFA) - Police are searching for a man wanted on a capital murder charge in a Montgomery shooting. According to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, Matthew Clayton, 18, also known as “Lil Sam,” is wanted in the shooting death of Jamarcus Jordan. Montgomery police were called to Troy Highway and Christine Elizabeth Curve Saturday around 6 p.m. after a report of a shooting. At the scene, police say Jordan was found shot. He was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
