Said to be an exclusive distribution partnership across Australia and New Zealand.
Channel services provider Insentra has partnered up with UK-headquartered independent software vendor (ISV) Rimo3 for regional distribution.
According to Insentra, the “exclusive distribution partnership” will give its partners access to Rimo3’s application modernisation platform, which allows optimisation and migration. The deal marks the first time Rimo3 has been sold by a third party in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
Insentra added that the partner need had stemmed from the difficulties of managing cumulative Windows updates across business apps.

Microsoft has identified a recent change to an authentication system as a possible cause of an outage that blighted users of its cloud-based portfolio of productivity and back-office apps across the world.
User reports of technical difficulties with the software giant’s Microsoft 365 online productivity suite first started emerging around 7pm on Monday 15 March 2021, according to Downdetector’s outage tracking data.
Where the OS on traditional Windows machines would be stored locally, Cloud PC connects to the internet and access the operating system remotely, alongside any apps and services required. It’s promoted as Microsoft’s own Desktop as a Service (DaaS) offering; representing the idea cloud computing in its purest sense.
With Cloud PC, everything will be stored on virtual machines on Microsoft servers as opposed to certain chunks running from your hard drive. Visually and practically, however, there would be little material change to the user experience, with Cloud PC users benefiting from the same layout, visuals and tools available to local Windows users.
