Camille Schear: 200 Free with a time of 2:00.30 earning a 1st place.  She also was first in the 200 IM Kate Carney: 500 Free with a time of 6:53.34 earning 4th place in the 500 Free & earning a 6th place finish 100 breaststroke Arly Ponce: earning a 2nd place finish in the 500 Free & a 4th place finish in the 50 Free Kelsey Hudson: 200 IM with a time of 3:00.05 earning an 8th place finish & 10th in the backstroke.

Sacred Heart Swimmers Take Fifth in WCC Sacred Heart placed fifth at the West Central Conference Classic Thursday night at the Joseph W. Arbisi Memorial Swimming Pool, completing against Warrensburg, Smith-Cotton, St. Pius, St. Michaels and Marshall. “The ladies did an amazing job tonight and all of their hard work in practice is paying off with the great times they are earning in their events.  They head to the Belton Invitational on Friday and Saturday,” according to Coach Michelle Steger. Here are some of the swimming Gremlins new personal records: Camille Schear: 200 IM with a time of 2:13.79 earning a 1st place.  Also a first place finish in the 100 free with a time of 55:15

Lady Grem Swimmers Take Seventh The Lady Gremlins placed 7th out of 12 Saturday at the Smith-Cotton Joe Arbisi Invitational.  “They performed well today against some tough competition from across the state.  This team of five athletes does nothing but impress me at each meet.  They always give 100 percent and it shows by these impressive finishes at this competitive level,” according to Coach Michelle Steger. The 200 medley relay (Carney, Hudson, Ponce, & Schear) earned a 2nd place & a state consideration time of 2:16.84.  That same relay team also placed 2nd in the 200 freestyle relay. Kate Carney had a 3rd place finish in the 200 free & a 4th place finish in the 100 freestyle.
