Weston High School s girls swimming and diving team competed against Medfield on Feb. 5 and finished off the regular season with a final win, bringing the regular season record to 8-1. Winning nearly every event, the final score was 90-80.
Julia Lawlor, Kate Handley, Jacey Hinton and Lara Moukaddem placed first in the 200 yard medley relay while teammates Sophie Backer, Sienna Flanigon, Ava Angelluci and Bella Pettinato took third.
Weston girls swept the 200 yard freestyle event with Lawlor, Siobhan Lacey and Katie Barlow coming in first, second and third, respectively.
Sophomore Kate Handley brought home the win in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:16.74. Junior Charlotte Martinkus and senior Jessica Pohl came in first and second in diving, while Hinton took first in the 100 yard butterfly.
