One student called me up and said, Do you think I should show in the exhibit? and I said, Sure, said curator Evelyn Matthies, who came up with the idea for the exhibit last spring along with Kent Montgomery, another Franklin Arts Center artist. And he said, Am I gonna be graded?

People flocked to downtown Mount Clemens to celebrate New Year s Eve with a 15-minute fireworks display, food and lots of kids running around the vacant field that formerly housed a parking deck.
It appeared to be a smaller crowd than in years past but a lively one. There appeared to be about 300 people in the downtown area and more sitting in their cars parked along Main Street and Market Street for the 9 p.m. display. The crowd size was hard to determine as many people chose to watch from home instead of outside in the 28-degree weather.

He replaces winemaker Jac Cole, who helped launch the brand, according to a press release.
“We feel unbelievably blessed to have Michael join the team at Hindsight,” Seth Gersch, owner and managing member, said. “Over the past several years, we’ve gone from a ‘little brand that could’ to a thriving grass-roots success.
