A TEENAGER from Llansilin has cooked up the recipe to a weird and wonderful pie, and it has earned him the chance to represent Powys in having it made by an award-winning pie maker. Bayden Edwards, 13 from Llansilin near Oswestry, has been selected by an expert panel of judges to represent Powys in the Peculiar and Preposterous Pie Competition, created by Vale of Mowbray, an award-winning pie maker. He is one of two children shortlisted in the age 13-16 years category and in with a chance of being crowned the winner of the competition, which saw children get creative in submitting the design of their trailblazing pie.
