Sumter PD arrests man wanted in connection with multiple break-ins at several Dollar General stores

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Sumter Police Department says they arrested a man wanted in connection with multiple Dollar General store break-ins. Police say 46-year-old Michael Channing Moses was identified as a suspect for Dollar General break-ins on Broad Street, Lafayette Drive and Pocalla Road. Police say Moses is wanted fot four break-ins at the three separate Dollar General locations from April 18-May 5.

Police say Moses was also wanted for violating the terms of his release from prison, and he was taken into custody on Wednesday outside of a North Main Street motel. Authorities say he has been charged with possession of burglary tools, financial transaction card theft and four counts of burglary-second degree.

SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) - The Sumter County Sheriffâs Office has arrested a man accused of breaking into several Dollar General stores.
Michael Channing Moses, 46, has been charged with four counts of 2nd-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, and financial transaction card theft.
Officials say Moses is tied to at least four break-ins at three separate Dollar General locations between April 18 and May 5.
Surveillance video from the businesses helped officials identify Moses as the suspect, according to reports.
