City of Tuscaloosa Cancels Holidays on the River for 2020-2021
The City of Tuscaloosa has made the decision to close its annual holiday event for the remainder of the season. Holidays on the River, hosted annually outside of the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, brought an outdoor ice skating rink to the city in addition to other holiday-themed activities. Ultimately the decision to close began with the City staff and a reduced number of available personnel, said Michelle McClinton Smart, Special Event Operations Manager for the City of Tuscaloosa.
