A new digital health innovation hub, dConnect has launched today in Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) which will support Ireland’s ambition to become a global leader in the development of digital health solutions.
dConnect will act as a bridge between business, the healthcare sector, higher education and society, forging innovative partnerships that will deliver disruptive technologies to revolutionise healthcare as we know it.
Dundalk Institute outline vision to achieve TU status

Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) has published a new vision statement outlining their clear ambition and strategic intent to achieve Technological University (TU) status by 2023.
The statement was shared with all staff at a consultative briefing last Friday and has been ratified by the DkIT Governing Body.
It promotes a unified agreed approach in delivering on the strategic goal and its unequivocal commitment to achieving TU designation by becoming a campus of a multi-campus Regional TU.
The statement provides an overarching vision for all stakeholders as the institute embarks on this new evolutionary period, accoding to the institution.
