Cuban Americans gather in Tampa to call on Biden Administration to end U.S. embargo on Cuba

After gathering in MacFarlane Park in West Tampa, the group then drove in a caravan to Ybor City before departing for DeSoto Park in Pinellas County, all part of what was billed as the “Bridges of Love Caravan.”
“The blockade against Cuba that is done by the United States, in the names of the citizens, is illegal and immoral,” declared Graham Sowa, a Brandon-based physician who attended the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana. ”We’re not here to take a political position of whether what’s happening in Cuba is right or wrong. We’re here as Americans, saying that we will not starve people into submission in our name.”

Rock never forgot the well of despair in her gut after that summer run. (Their signature monthly group run is called Self Care Sunday.) “We create space where women can be authentic and feel good about themselves. Because when we uplift and unite each other, we’re unstoppable.”
Plans for a Bravo Supermarket near the York Fairgrounds were announced in October 2019. Marquez, who co-owns Bravo and the CTown at 131 N. Duke St. with Miquel Marquez and Emmanuel Castillo, acknowledged that the project took longer than expected as the pandemic caused construction delays.
The supermarket is joined by Rite-Aid, Dollar Tree and Auto Zone in the West Market Street strip mall. Krasdale operates 16 Bravo or CTown locations throughout Pennsylvania.
Bravo Supermarketsis located at 1200 W. Market St. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m Sunday.
