Syracuse, NY A Syracuse man awaiting trial on a murder charge is accused of holding up a friend at gunpoint to steal marijuana, a prosecutor revealed in court Wednesday.
Michael Grant, 24, remains jailed after the November 2020 murder of Jerry Murray, 23. He’s charged with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and illegal gun possession.
The circumstances of the fatal robbery remain somewhat murky. But Chief Assistant District Attorney Melinda McGunnigle offered a quick overview of her case during a bail hearing Wednesday.
