I watched every season of Power when it was on Starz, but I m upset at myself for not checking out the spinoff, Power Book. Of course the show stars Michael Rainey Jr, who still plays Tariq. But also, Method Man and Mary J. Blige are on the show. Well, season 2 is in the making but Method Man revealed a new member to the cast. These two guys have been like brothers in the music game for a minute and even did their Verzuz just recently. You ve guessed it! Redman will be joining season 2 as Method Man s brother. The announcement had me cracking up with Redman hopped on the camera! Check out the announcement!

Rapper Redman has joined the cast of Power Book II: Ghost Season 2, where he will be reunited with his hip-hop partner Method Man.
ADVERTISEMENT Redman will portray Theo Rollins on the Starz drama, the older brother of Method Man s character Davis MacLean.
Theo is serving a prison sentence while Davis is now the biggest defense attorney in New York City after winning the Tasha St. Patrick (Naturi Naughton) case.
Power Book II: Ghost takes place days after the original Power and follows star Michael Rainey Jr. as Tariq St. Patrick.
