Moberly police officers early Tuesday morning made separate incident arrests on two men within nearly 45 minutes of one another, each having had warrants issued in their name. Both subjects are incarcerated at the Randolph County Justice Center in Huntsville.
Michael Fugate, 45, Moberly was taken into custody during a 12:15 a.m. traffic stop on Jan. 5.
According to a police report Fugate had an active Randolph County warrant for his arrest for failure to register as a sex offender. He is in the county jail with a $3,500 cash or surety bond.
A 50-year old Columbia man, John Houston, was the subject of a traffic stop by Moberly officers at around 1 a.m. Tuesday. A police report said upon investigation officers learned that Houston initially provided false information about his true identity.
