No further delays allowed in bowlo armed robbery case

The matters of Allie Alex, Beau Hinze-Yates and Tori May Perkiss were mentioned in Tweed Heads Local Court on March 12. Police allege about 12.30am on March 12, a woman was threatened by Mr Hinze-Yates, who was armed with shorn-off shotgun, after closing the licensed venue. Detectives have arrested three people over an alleged armed robbery at Brunswick Heads.   It s alleged the 28-year-old then forced the woman to reopen the business before he stole cash and threatened a security guard who arrived during the incident.

Former Gold Coast Titans star to contest drug supply charges

Premium Content   An ex-NRL player accused of being in a drug supply circle has indicated through his lawyer that he will be contesting the charges against him. Former Gold Coast Titans player Michael Gordon faces two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and two counts of taking part in supplying a prohibited drug. The matter was mentioned before the Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday where defence lawyer Erin Garland indicated Mr Gordon would be pleading not guilty to the two supply charges. Premium Content Subscriber only The doctor sister of famous surfer Mark Occhilupo has faced court on Wednesday after she egged her neighbour’s home in February last year. Fleur Gwendoline Occhilupo, 57, pleaded guilty in Tweed Heads Local Court to stalk/intimidate indenting to cause fear, harm etc. Court documents reveal Occhilupo had been harassing her upstairs neighbour on Moss St, Kingscliff, for the past week by calling her names and shouting abuse before the offence on February 29, 2020. Fleur Gwendoline Occhilupo pleaded guilty to stalk/intimidate in Tweed Heads Local Court. Both women were in their respective homes, the victim was playing music and Occhilupo was drinking and became intoxicated.
