NEW BEDFORD â After Tito Jackson lost the Boston mayorâs race in 2017, he began to take stock of his life and heritage.
Heâd long been open about his adoption, but all he knew, based on some basic information heâd received years ago from the adoption agency, was that his birth mother was just 13 years old when she had him, and that she had been sexually assaulted by two men.
Unique legacy : Jaycar founder Gary Johnston dies
Gary Johnston, the founder and managing director of iconic Aussie retailer Jaycar, has died.
Mr Johnston is understood to have passed away on Wednesday after suffering from a short illness.
Jaycar s current CEO Michael Newsom paid tribute to Mr Johnston s legacy as one of Australia s biggest retailers, saying his sudden death had caused deep sadness. We are deeply saddened by Gary s sudden and untimely passing and we send our deepest condolences to his wife Kerry, Chris, Tim, Jeni and Robbie and families, Mr Newsom said.
