The UK has been left in legal limbo after it applied to re-join Lugano Convention as an independent state BREXIT has left the UK frozen out of an international treaty that has governed cross-border civil and commercial legal disputes since it first joined the EU – and the European Commission (EC) appears to be blocking efforts to ease its return.
