Giles said there is no evidence that the vaccine is harmful to the baby but there was a lot of proof that if a pregnant woman contracts the virus it can be quite harmful. She made the comments on a webinar where questions about pregnant women getting the Moderna vaccine were raised.  “A lot of women are questioning whether the vaccine is safe for the baby or is it harmful, there is no current evidence that the coronavirus vaccines negatively affect the baby,” she said.
