Two charged over alleged Kalkallo burglary

Michaela Meade A 19-year-old man from Broadmeadows and a 14-year-old boy from Wallan have been charged following an alleged burglary in Kalkallo on Tuesday. Police allege two males went to a property on Graves Court, Kalkallo on Tuesday, April 6 in a stolen vehicle about 7pm, before forcing their way inside. There was no one home at the time of the incident. Police said the man and the boy were arrested on Wednesday about 1am. Police allege the pair were in a vehicle containing stolen property. Both have been charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. The 14-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at a children’s court at a later date.

Easter activities abound at Craigieburn Central

Michaela Meade Craigieburn Central is treating kids to Easter holiday fun with a variety of workshops and activities, running until Friday, April 16. A nine hole mini golf course is open from Monday, April 12 until Friday, April 16 from 10am to 2pm to let kids test their putting skills against friends and family. Businesses face uncertainity

Michaela Meade Wyndham businesses are playing a waiting game, with the full impact of the end to JobKeeper payments unlikely to be felt for a few months, community and business leaders say.
