WHIZ News Military Antique Show to be held Saturday at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio- The National Road Military Antique Show will be held at the Veteran’s Complex on the Muskingum County Fairgrounds on Saturday. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the public is welcome to visit the show and check out militaria from all eras. Vendors will be there to sell and display a variety of military collectibles. “Every collector, every dealer is its own museum in a way. Everybody is interested in preserving stuff, that’s why they collect it. The historical interest of course kind of reinforces that,” Event Manager Mike Willey said.

No One Hurt in Natural Gas Pipeline Explosion in Oklahoma February 19, 2021 AMES, Okla. (AP) There were no injuries when a natural gas pipeline exploded early Thursday in northwestern Oklahoma, authorities said. The explosion occurred at about 5:45 a.m. in a field southeast of the town of Ames, about 65 miles (105 kilometers) northwest of Oklahoma City, according to Ames Fire Chief Mike Willey. “There was no threat to people or private property,” Willey said. “The closest house is about a quarter mile away.” A fire in the 6- to 8-inch pipeline was brought under control shortly after 9 a.m., but the cause has not been determined, Willey said.
