AFS Announces Additions to Board of Directors for 2021-2022
The American Foundry Society, North America’s largest and most influential metalcasting association, today announced its officers and new board members for 2021-2022.
As President, Mike Lenahan, president of KB Foundry Services in Independence, Ohio.
As Vice President, Adam San Solo, director of sales and engineering at U.S. Foundry & Manufacturing Company in Medley, Florida.
As 2nd Vice President, Bradford Muller, vice president of marketing at Charlotte Pipe & Foundry in Charlotte, North Carolina.
As Immediate Past President, Peter Reich, director at LaempeReich, in Trussville, Alabama.
Together with the CEO, Doug Kurkul, they comprise the Society’s Executive Committee.
C.O. Irrigation District removes SE Bend homeless encampment It’s a total wreck over on that corner
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) Crews with the Central Oregon Irrigation District removed and cleaned up the site of a homeless encampment along a canal in southeast Bend Wednesday morning.
Shon Rae, deputy managing director of COID says crew members began removing piles of trash from the encampment early in the day.
“They’re out there cleaning up trash, hauling it off to the dump, and then the items that don’t appear to be trash are being held for 30 days at our property off of Brookswood (Boulevard),” Rae said.
Frustrated Bend auto shop owner says homeless man has threatened employees
DA says he will try to protect business but also get man help he needs
BEND, Ore (KTVZ) Mike Leib says the man who lives at a homeless camp behind his business has been trespassing on his property and threatening his employees.
He said Thursday he’s called the police several times, to try get the man to stop, but he’s starting to run out of options.
“He’s been increasingly combative with my staff at the store,” Leib said.
The three-year general manager at Precision Body and Paint told NewsChannel 21 he knows the man and has had some conversations with him.
