With school lockdowns and COVID restrictions still ongoing, an advocate for every child s freedom to learn in a safe, loving environment at their own pace is not surprised that frustrated parents have turned to homeschooling in record numbers.
Mike Donnelly, director of internal affairs for the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), tells One News Now the number of homeschooling students has tripled from two million to six million students in the last year. He says the virus is not the only factor contributing to the growth.
