UPDATE: These Pets Need a Home Now Time Has Run Out on Them
UPDATED: 3-8-2021: Now that the weather has settled down, more and more dogs and cats are getting out and the the population at the Abilene Animal Shelter starts to fill up with homeless pets. The Director of the Abilene Services Shelter, Mike Bricker says, in times like these that we see some beautiful pets coming in, many are the most sought after breeds too.
Bricker is also asking for donations of any and all blankets and towels too, saying all donations are greatly appreciated. He added that the towels and blankets gives each pet a chance to have something soft to sleep upon. Donations are accepted at the shelter at 925 South 25th during business hours.
