(Dearborn County, Ind.) - The Dearborn County Young Professionals is excited to announce the 2021 Future Leaders Scholarship application.
The Future Leaders Scholarship is open to Dearborn County residents who are seniors graduating from high school or home school in 2021. Winners could receive up to $1,500.00 in scholarship funds to support their future education, career, or other desires.
The Dearborn County Young Professionals will award scholarship funds to students who have exhibited exceptional personal achievement and a commitment to the betterment of the community during their high school careers. Students are also asked to submit either 500-word essay or a five (5) minute video detailing a product or plan that will improve the Dearborn County.

“The stimulus checks are not taxable, so that is literally free money,” said Mike Cunningham with Coastal Financial Planners. “It is not taxable income. Some people may not have received their stimulus check if they were supposed to, or if they thought they qualified, and there is a form that can be filled out as part of the tax return. And, they can get a tax credit in the tax return itself which would be the equivalent of receiving that stimulus check.”

Using new technology, customers will be notified if they need to be more dispersed
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) has initiated a pilot programme using new technology that monitors social distancing information for customers at the facility’s security gate B.
Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) technology as well as software from the airports partner, CrowdVision, are being used for the project to monitor, analyse, and report physical distancing.
Due to the motion analytics software, customers and airport management are notified when the level of social distancing is satisfactory as well as when more physical separation is needed.
