May 18, 2021 A renovation project at Amara Resort and Spa in Sedona, Ariz., aims to blur the line between indoors and outdoors. Design elements will pay homage to the Hopi and Navajo tribes that are indigenous to Northern Arizona. Amara’s restaurant, SaltRock Southwest Kitchen, will get an upgrade. All 100 guestrooms will get a tree lodge aesthetic.
The Amara Resort and Spa in Sedona, Ariz., is kicking off a multimillion-dollar renovation that will bring a new “tree lodge” aesthetic to all 100 guestrooms and public spaces on property.
The renovation will be completed in phases. Amara’s restaurant SaltRock Southwest Kitchen and the Amara Spa will also be upgraded, with the full project slated to be completed ahead of Labor Day weekend.
