Normal, IL, USA / www.cities929.com May 27, 2021 | 2:32 PM A man is jailed after police said he drove off in a tour bus early Thursday morning outside a hotel in Uptown Normal and took off with the bus driver inside. Normal Police have identified the suspected busjacker as Kvon Tooles, 23, from Normal. According to NPD, at about 6:05 a.m., the driver got out of the Timi’s Tour Bus just outside Hyatt Place and when he got back on the bus, Kvon Tooles was in the driver’s seat. He was unarmed. Police told us that the driver called 911 as the bus was pulling out and heading east on College Avenue. The bus then reportedly exited the roadway and crashed into a retention pond near the Meijer Express Gas Station on East College Avenue.
