bohara@leaderherald.com CAROGA Members of the town’s Golf Course Steering Committee is continuing to work on setting up temporary clubhouse for the Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course and continue to work with an architect to replace the former clubhouse that was destroyed in a fire in November. Caroga’s town Golf Course Steering Committee held a meeting on Wednesday, in which they are continuing to negotiate with the insurance company. “There’s been some discussion with the insurance company about whether one building was destroyed in the fire, or two buildings. The town’s position is that two buildings were destroyed in the fire,” said Supervisor Scott Horton. “The difference is that if you have two buildings and in the policy there are additional remunerations that you can ask for from one building [then] you can ask for the same remunerations from the second building. That’s really important.”
