Sunnyvale man allegedly confesses to murdering wife, daughter article
SUNNYVALE, Calif. - In Sunnyvale, a software engineer is accused of killing his wife and 11-year-old daughter. Police said he showed up to the police station on Wednesday afternoon and confessed to the crime.
51-year-old Leonid Yamburg faces two counts of murder. Police said after he admitted to the crime, he stopped talking, invoking his right for an attorney. We had the suspect come up to our phone here and tell one of our records clerks they had killed their wife earlier in the day, said Capt. Craig Anderson of the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

A Sunnyvale man was arrested this week for allegedly killing his wife and 11-year-old daughter, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety said Thursday.
Officers responded around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to the lobby of the Sunnyvale DPS headquarters, where Leonid Solomonovich Yamburg, 51, allegedly told a records clerk he killed his wife.
Sunnyvale DPS officers then traveled to Yamburg s residence on the 900 block of West Homestead Road and found the bodies of his wife, Svetlana Nikitana, and daughter.

A Sunnyvale man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of double murder after he walked into police headquarters and confessed to killing his wife then officers later found his wife s and daughter s bodies at his home, according to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
At about 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the front lobby of Sunnyvale DPS headquarters on a report of a man who told a records clerk he killed his wife, police said.
Leonid Yamburg, 51, was detained by officers, and police responded to his home in the 900 block of West Homestead Road, finding Yamburg’s wife, Svetlana Nikitina, and his 11-year-old daughter dead at the scene, police said.
