U.S. ATTORNEY FOR WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA SCOTT BRADY SAYS A CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL -ORDERED MORATORIUM ON THOSE SORTS OF EVICTIONS IS EXTENDED THROUGH AT LEAST THE END OF THIS MONTH. IF YOU ARE BEING EVICTED BY A LANDLORD BASED ON AN INABILITY TO PAY, WHERE YOU’VE BEEN AFFECTED BY THE PANDEMIC AND MAYBE HAVE LOST YOUR JOB OR INCOME, THE CDC ORDER PROTECTS YOU. REPORTER: THE ORDER DOESN’T STOP EVICTIONS TRIGGERED BY CRIME OR DESTROYING PROPERTY, BUT TENANTS WHO’VE LOST INCOME BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC ARE PROTECTED. IT’S NOT ONLY AN EVICTION FOR NON PAYMENT, BUT THEY MAY HAVE USED THAT TO SEXUALLY HARASS TENANTS, TO TRY TO EXTORT OTHER TYP
