Gonzaga F Drew Timme returning for junior season

Gonzaga star Drew Timme announced Wednesday he is returning for his junior season in 2021-22.
The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32 starts last season as the Bulldogs (31-1) went undefeated before losing to Baylor in the NCAA Tournament final. I appreciate everything I ve learned so far from the Gonzaga coaching staff, and look forward to growing my game once more, Timme said in a statement released by the school. I love playing at GU, being a part of the program, and can t wait to play in front of the best fans in the country again.
Softball team advances to NCAA championship
The UNG softball team clinched the NCAA Southeast Regional title with 4-0 and 3-1 victories against Lincoln Memorial University on May 22 at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.
For the first time since 2018, the University of North Georgia (UNG) softball team is headed to the NCAA Division II championship.
As the No. 4 seed in the Elite Eight, UNG will begin the double-elimination event at 3:30 p.m. May 27 against fifth-seeded Biola University in Denver, Colorado. Live coverage links and ticket information will be available on the UNG Athletics website in the coming days.
