54 suspected criminals arrested in Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis Fifty-four suspected criminals have been arrested by the Western Regional Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), for various offences, to prevent crime and ensure law and order in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis. The suspects, mostly   motorcycle and tricycle riders, will be screened and those found culpable would be arraigned while some motorcycles have been impounded by the MTTD. The Police Public Affairs Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Olivia Ewurabena Adiku, who confirmed the story to the Ghanaian Times, yesterday, said the three-day operation, was led by the Regional MTTD Commander, Chief Superintendent Isaac K. Sorkpah.
