We actually rely real heavy on volunteers. We are a combination department. We actually have more volunteers than paid personnel, Hartley said.

The team will return 28 days after the event to administer second doses.

The event is taking place with the assistance of Arbor Health Clinic, the Louisiana Department of Health, the West Baton Rouge Fire Department, as well as local EMT and law enforcement personnel.
