The team at Clydebank FC 2008s with the items gathered in to help West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare’s appeal
Written by Andrew Ward YOUNG players at a Clydebank football team have came together to collect essentials for those most vulnerable within the community. Clydebank FC 2008s have managed to collect large volumes of food, toiletries and other essentials for the local food bank, West Dunbartonshire Community Food Share group. Clydebank secretary and child protection officer, David McLean, spoke of his pride at the teams efforts despite their young age and the ongoing coronavirus restrictions. David told the Post: “My son, who is part of the team, has a lot of emotional intelligence - he quite often talks to the homeless community.
